Block Party and Free Rummage Sale, Saturday July 11
You can bring donations starting THIS WEEK during office hours.  The ideal time to bring large and heavy items is the week of July 5th so they can be stored on the stage instead of on the third floor. We still have plenty of room for volunteers so you can mark on your connection form what you are interested in helping with. Potential areas to serve: rummage sale set up/take down, rummage sale greeter/info table, block party set up, food preparation, food serving, bringing food, block party clean up. We can’t make this happen without you!

Last Call for the Kayak Trips!
This is the LAST DAY to sign up for the kayak trips as our deposit is due TOMORROW. The couples trip is August 8-11 and the individual trip is August 20-23, with the cost of $210 per person. The deposit of $100 can be dropped in the offering or dropped off at the office tomorrow. Please sign up on the connection form TODAY for the trip you are interested in. Venues and Discipleship

Life Group Training, Sundays July 19, 26, and August 2 at 9:30 am
Join us for this teaching venue to prepare for Life Groups in the fall. If you are an aspiring LG leader, a core member, or a current leader who wants more training, this is a venue for you. We will meet before the service and gain a better understanding of what Life Groups look like in the Hillside Church Community. Please sign up on the connection form.

Foundations Dinner, Monday July 27 at 6 pm
The Foundations Dinner offers you an opportunity to spend an evening with our pastoral staff over a nice dinner as we explore some of the awesome things contained in the Bible.  Join us as we discuss and discover what it means to be a Christian and truly follow after Jesus.

Serving in the Community

Neighborhood Prayer Walk, Wednesday July 1, 5 - 7 pm
We’re walking around the Hillside to cover the area in prayer, which is a critical foundation to any ministry.  Come to be part of this impactful evening of REACH.

Block Party Invites, Wednesday July 8, 5 - 7 pm
Come and help us invite the whole neighborhood to our Block Party! The reason we throw the party is for the Hillside residents to come and see what we’re all about, so we’ll hand out tons of invites and personally ask them to join us.
